The History of BlakeneyBlakeney began it's life as a commercial seaport up until the early 20th century. Areas of the village are belived to date back to the 14th century, namely the old Guildhall and it's undercroft. Today the harbour is silted up, allowing room for only very small boats to sail their way out past Blakeney Point into the North sea. Over recent years, due to it's stunning coastal location Blakeney has become popular with many vistors and tourists, with tourism being it's main industry today.
